The ITS course in Environmental Sustainability allows you to combine materials chemistry and microbiology with a knowledge of more managerial aspects, related to environmental regulations and legislations, as well as process efficiency and product recycling.
At the end of the course you will become a specialized technician in green processes, capable of working in the field of environmental analysis and consulting.
How is the course in Environmental Sustainability structured?
The course provides both in-depth training on various types of materials, recycling methods, product re-design and energy efficiency, and environmental regulations and legislation.
The two-year Environmental Sustainability course consists of 2,000 hours in which solid theoretical and experimental training, and practical application through a traineeship is provided. Every course provides adequate knowledge of instruments and in-depth mastery of experimental methods.
The courses allow a maximum of 25 students and require in-person attendance for 80% of the scheduled number of hours.
What are the requirements to access the Environmental Sustainability course?
To be eligible to take part in an ITS pathway, one must:
- Hold a secondary education diploma or vocational diploma supplemented with one year of IFTS pathways, or other qualification obtained abroad and recognized as suitable.

Those who pass the final exam at the end of the second year will be awarded the Higher Technical Diploma, corresponding to the V level of the European Qualifications Framework (EQF).
Can i get a bachelor’s degree in Environmental Sustainability with ITS academy?
The course in Environmental Sustainability allows direct access to the third year of the Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering, Chemistry Major, at the eCampusTelematic University.
